Reading & Math: Students need to read and practice math facts! They should have memorized x and / facts to 10.
Mondays are library days. Students need to check out two books in their reading level, and test on them.
Students may log-on to Epic and use the class code, rws8382, to listen and read to books.
Got ear buds? Students will need ear buds or headphones beginning the first day of school and will need to maintain them throughout the year.

Please do not purchase spiral bound notebooks. They make a huge mess in the classroom and for the same reason, please do not buy handheld pencil sharpeners.

Scholastic Book orders - Mrs. Kraus is our Book Club coordinator. Use her class activation code: H3LWK. Remember, online orders default to her class, but are credited towards our class.

Students may log on to www.zearn.org for more math practice that supports the classroom lessons.

Front Row Math- Students are using a software application called Front Row at school to learn math and language. The program is designed to help each student practice Common Core aligned mathematical and language skills at his or her own level. They may log-on at https://www.freckle.com/

Ask your child about their Google Slides project.
Ask your child about Google Classroom (code is amagy2) and Front Row Math and Language (code is fdpfv6), and Moby Max (code is UCHFEN).

We participate in Rising New York Road Runners! AS A RISING NEW YORK ROAD RUNNERS SITE:
• We receive free instructional materials and helpful videos from New York Road Runners to guide and support our students.
• Research-based methods are used to develop fundamental movement and athletic skills.
• We are able to help our students reach their personal bests as they grow stronger both mentally and physically. Student have run more than 100 miles!!
